ALMH Offers Free Prenatal Classes

    Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital reminds expecting families that each month it offers a free prenatal class. The next 3-hour class will be held Sunday, February 26 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The class will be held in Steinfort A at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.

    ALMH Hosts Ladies Night Out

    Women take care of their families oftentimes to the point of ignoring their own physical, spiritual and/or emotional needs. On March 24 from 5 to 9 p.m., Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital hopes to remind ladies of Logan County that you can’t take care of others unless you take care of yourself.

    Rigg Named January ALMH Employee of the Month

    At the age of 17 Hazel Rigg was working in a long term care facility and immediately knew that she wanted to be a nurse. She completed her nursing degree after high school and now has a nursing career that includes experience in a variety of settings such as long term care, physician offices and hospital intensive care units. Rigg currently works in the acute care department at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln, Illinois.

    The Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital Farmers Market Reopens May 13

    The Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation is thrilled to announce a return of their initiative to improve the health of the people and communities in Logan and eastern Mason County. The ALMH Market will reopen on Saturday, May 13 and continue rain or shine on Saturdays through September 30.

    It’s a Boy! ALMH Welcomes First Baby of 2017

    Cody and Monica Baker of Lincoln welcomed their first child precisely on his due date, January 1. And with that, Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital proudly welcomed its first baby of 2017. Baby boy Landon Andrew Baker arrived at 2:25am weighing 9 pounds, 5 ounces and measuring 19 ¼ inches long at birth.

    Oesterlein Named ALMH Employee of the Month

    Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital has announced Anett Oesterlein of Pekin as the December Employee of the Month. Oesterlein joined the ALMH laboratory department in April 2012 and serves as a medical laboratory technician.
