ALMH performs a number of cardiac tests on patients to identify and prevent more serious health events from occurring:

• EKG, the attachment of 12 electrodes on the chest and arms to diagnose a heart attack
• Cardiac stress testing on the treadmill
• 24-hour holter monitoring
• Echocardiograms, an ultrasound of the heart
