ALMH partners with a number of organizations to improve the health of the people and communities we serve.
Local Memorial Health System affiliates offer mental health and primary health care services, as well as durable medical equipment and home-based nursing for care after hospitalization.
The Healthy Communities Partnership, a collaboration of organizations including Memorial Health System, delivers mobile health care services to the rural corners of Logan County. The HOPE mobile provides an Memorial Physician Services nurse practitioner and a public health nurse from the Logan County Department of Public Health. The HOPE mobile is also staffed by ALMH volunteers.
The Logan County Department of Public Health helps new families off to a great start with low-cost immunizations, car seat checks and nutritional counseling for expectant moms and young families.
Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs donated blood. ALMH patients receive blood transfusions for a variety of medical reasons. This blood is provided only by the Central Illinois Community Blood Center. ALMH is proud to partner with CICBC to host monthly blood drives that secure blood and blood products for patients at ALMH and 18 other hospitals in central and south central Illinois.
