Central Illinois Community Blood Center
The Central Illinois Community Blood Center (CICBC) is the sole supplier of blood and blood products to ALMH.
CICBC is a not-for-profit organization headquartered in Springfield. It also serves Memorial Medical Center and St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Taylorville Memorial Hospital in Taylorville, and many other hospitals in Central Illinois.
CICBC is located at 1134 South Seventh St. in Springfield. You can donate blood Monday through Friday by calling (217) 753-1530 for an appointment.
Locally, the CICBC holds two blood drives monthly. A blood drive is held the first Monday of each month from noon to 6 p.m. at the Lincoln Masonic Center, 2202 N. Kickapoo St. in Lincoln. In addition, the Bloodmobile is hosted by ALMH from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. typically the last Thursday of each month. Registration is located in the Wombacher Room during ALMH blood drives.
